The Nike Adapt BB is the first app-controlled shoe to hit the market. Featuring an upgraded version of the self-lacing technology in the 2016 HyperAdapt 1.0, the Adapt BB was debuted on January 16, 2019 by Jayson Tatum and Luka Doncic.

The shoe is controlled by a companion app that allows you to tighten the laces in search of the perfect “containment”, a term coined to denote the feeling when the soles of your feet and the insert in the shoe feel like a single entity.
