The successor to the popular GT Cut improves on the traction and impact protection, with a mesh upper that’s lightweight and well ventilated. The fit is snug and supportive for the most part, though the lack of wrap-around material on the tongue may mean some players need to wear a brace to prevent ankle twists or sprains.

Nike appears to have settled on the GT Cut silhouette as its flagship non-signature low cut performance shoe. The Kobe-like design uses sharp aesthetic features paired with Nike React and parabolic Air Zoom Strobel for cushioning and responsiveness, hollow herringbone traction and visible breathability in the upper.
