Review Consensus

Versatility is a key strength of the Giannis Freak 6, whose blend of speed and stability make it a good match for a variety of playing styles. It has solid containment and court feel, though it's not the most supportive shoe and the outsole lacks durability.

Release Date: August 16, 2024

The first images from @kicksdong showcase the Giannis Freak 6 (renamed from the Nike Zoom Freak 6) in full detail, maintaining the low-top design favored by Giannis in all his previous signature shoes. Unlike the Freak 5, which features panels wrapping around the heel, eyelets, and forefoot, the Freak 6 employs a more streamlined leather piece that sits higher, revealing more of the multi-layered base. Giannis’ signature oversized Swooshes remain a prominent feature, appearing on the quarter and extending into the midsole with a wavy foam design.

This particular colorway is themed around red roses, highlighting the diverse design options for the Freak 6, though this isn’t a standard feature across all versions.
