Review consensus

WearTesters rates the Kobe 10 Protro 9/10 and calls it an excellent on-court performer, with an upgraded upper and better cushioning than the original. The traction holds up on all floor conditions and is more durable than the 2015 model, though reviewers still recommend it for indoor use only. The fit runs true to size and works for wide feet, but the last is shaped differently from the original's.

About the shoe

The Kobe 10 Protro is Nike’s updated reissue of Kobe Bryant’s 2015 signature shoe, debuting in the all-white “Halo” colorway on August 23, 2026. It keeps the original’s look and carbon fiber forefoot wing but replaces the Lunarlon and heel Air Zoom setup with Cushlon 3.0 foam over a full-length Zoom Strobel. The engineered mesh upper was redesigned for breathability and flexibility, the forefoot was widened, and the outsole was reengineered using Nike Sport Research Lab movement data. It retails for $190, and Flyknit versions with ZoomX foam are due in 2027.
