Former UConn center Olivia Nelson-Ododa was selected 19th overall by the Los Angeles Sparks in the second round of the 2022 WNBA Draft. A January 2023 trade sent her to the Connecticut Sun, who re-signed her to a two-year deal in April 2026. On court she has worn Nike throughout her pro career, most often the Kobe 6, including the Kobe 6 Protro Dodgers and the Kobe 8 EXT Protro Siempre Hermanos.
