Review Consensus

Reviewers call the Kai 3 the most well-rounded model in the line so far, and WearTesters calls it one of the best-fitting shoes they have tested recently. Traction is reliable indoors once the outsole breaks in, though it picks up dust. The low-profile cushioning puts court feel ahead of plushness, which suits quick, shifty guards.

Release Date: January 17, 2026

The Anta Kai 3 is Kyrie Irving’s third signature shoe with Anta. It moves to a low-cut silhouette with a more streamlined design than the Kai 1 and Kai 2, pairing a lightweight mesh and fuse upper with a nitrogen-infused foam midsole, a carbon fiber midfoot shank and traction that wraps up the sidewalls. Reviewers note it goes back to a lighter, textile-focused build after the more premium materials of the Kai 2. Most colourways retail for $135.
