NBA dunk champion Derrick Jones Jr. first entered the NBA consciousness in the 2016 slam dunk competition, throwing down a few notable dunks en route to a second place finish. In addition to his Kobe 11s, Jones wore the Nike Air More Uptempo shoes during that competition.
In his 2020 dunk victory over Aaron Gordon, Jones Jr. sported a pair of Puma Clyde Hardwoods. Soon after that contest, Jones Jr. signed an endorsement deal with Puma, which had him exclusively wearing silhouettes like the RS-Dreamer during the Orlando Bubble.
Once again parting ways with Puma, Jones Jr. is back to classic Nikes; this year, he’s been rotating through his favorite vintage KDs, especially focusing on the popular KD 4s.
