Review Consensus

While it differs from the KD 15 in a few key ways, this is still a great on-court performer, with a unique multi-directional traction pattern and firm cushioning across the foot. Its main weakness is the translucent rubber outsole, which lacks durability on outdoor courts.

Release Date: July 31, 2023

The 16th iteration of Kevin Durant’s signature shoe, the Nike KD 16 was released in the third quarter of 2023 to stellar reviews.

The shoe was debuted by Durant in the first round of the 2022-23 NBA playoffs as the Suns took on the Clippers.

Nike Air and Zoom Air work together to provide speed and stability for all four quarters, while the upper is lower and the overall load is lighter compared to the previous iteration
