Hakeem
Olajuwon

Nigerian-born center Hakeem Olajuwon was selected first overall by the Houston Rockets in the 1984 NBA draft out of the University of Houston. He played for the Rockets from 1984 to 2001 and for the Toronto Raptors in 2001–02, and now works as a real estate investor. Etonic, his first sponsor, issued his Akeem the Dream signature shoe in 1984. In 1995 he released The Dream with Spalding, a signature shoe priced at $34.99.
