The first model released under the subsidiary Jordan brand, the Air Jordan 12 was touted for its durability and firmness. Released on March 13, 1996, this was the first shoe in the Jordan line that did not have any Nike branding. The shoe was retroed in 2003, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2015, and is currently available for purchase.
