Las Vegas native Rae Burrell played four seasons at Tennessee before the Los Angeles Sparks selected her ninth overall in the 2022 WNBA draft. A foot injury limited her rookie season to three games, and she returned on hardship contracts before signing a multi-year deal in 2024. Burrell signed a shoe deal with Nike in July 2025 and has worn the Nike JA 3, JA 3 Explorer and JA 4 Nightmare on court.
