A slight upgrade over the original Paul George signature, the PG2 is decent all around with improved traction and cushioning.

The Nike PG 2, Paul George’s follow-up to the wildly successful PG 1, features a more traditional construction than the first shoe, adopting so-called “dynamic wings” at the forefoot which provide same level of lockdown.

Designer Tony Hardman focused on George’s two-way game in the construction and look of the shoe, and strived to improve performance by increasing the Zoom cushioning and improving the overall traction while dumping the first version’s bootie construction and forefoot strap.

George’s signature line remains notable for its affordable price tag, making it stand out on price point from the shoes of other superstars like LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
