Rui Hachimura is a Japanese forward on the Washington Wizards, who was drafted 9th overall in 2019 out of Gonzaga. As a college student, Hachimura wore Nike PG2 shoes with the Bulldogs.

Upon signing with the Wiz, Hachimura promptly inked a multi-year deal with Jordan Brand, which hopes to make further inroads in the large Asian footwear market. Hachimura now wears the flagship Air Jordan 34s.
