About the shoe
Designed by Leo Chang and named by Nike as one of the best basketball sneakers of the past 20 years, the Nike KD IV is one of Durant’s most memorable, successful and technologically advanced signature shoes.
The KD IV featured Nike’s Adaptive Fit System, which included synthetic foot straps at the lateral forefoot and medial arch to work with the laces creating a locked-down fit. Nike’s Hyperfuse construction was used in the upper for durability and breathability, while the low-profile forefoot Zoom Air cushioning was deployed for quickness and responsiveness.
