Antetokounmpo

Thanasis Antetokounmpo, the older brother of two-time league MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, had a brief stint with the Knicks in 2015-16, and then returned to the NBA in 2019 as a member of his brother’s squad, the Milwaukee Bucks, winning a championship with them in 2021. Some speculate that he was a member of the Bucks only as a token emotional-support sibling for Giannis, but at the end of the day, does it really matter? In September 2026 he left the NBA to sign with Aris Thessaloniki in Greece, where his brother Kostas also plays. To show his thanks, Thanasis wore the family signature shoe in his last NBA season: the Nike Giannis Freak 7.
