With a bit of a confusing naming scheme, the BYW X 2.0 is the official follow-up to the high-performing BYW X (released in 2018). With a long two-year delay in North America, expectations for the BYW 2.0 have been high. Surprisingly, the 2.0 reverts to a much more traditional aesthetic and shape, getting rid of the curvy, rounded lines in favor of a sharper, sleeker profile. A solid herringbone outsole along with a substantial and partially visible Boost unit make this one of 2020’s signature Adidas silhouettes.
